Holiday fun dress up days!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
As you know, our school has followed the new state-mandated cell phone policy this year, which requires phones to remain secured and unused during the school day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. This rule also applies during school activities, sporting events, bus rides, field trips, and any other school-sponsored events held during the school day.
Despite reminders and the use of YONDR pouches, many students continue to violate this policy. Because of ongoing misuse, the school will no longer permit students to bring cell phones to school for the remainder of the school year.
Beginning January 5th, students will not be allowed to have a cell phone on campus. If a student needs to contact a parent, they may visit the front office to use the school phone. Parents may also call the office to relay messages to their child.
We attempted to maintain student possession of phones through the YONDR pouch system, but continued violations have resulted in this privilege being removed. Any phone brought to school after January 5th will be confiscated, and a parent or guardian will be required to pick it up from the office.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to maintain a safe and distraction-free learning environment.
Sincerely,
School Administration

Thank you Mrs. Merriott for organizing this wonderful event!

It is getting the time! Bus snow route!
Four of our classrooms earned a tremendous honor by winning the Oklahoma Statewide Amira Reading Tailgate Challenge! Congratulations to Mrs. Braden’s class, Ms. Buchmann’s class, Mrs. Davis’ class, and Mrs. Swepston’s class for their outstanding dedication to reading and hard work throughout the challenge. Each of these classrooms will receive a gift card from Amira to host their very own classroom celebration. We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers for their commitment to literacy and for representing our school so well!
