E-sports team! Dahlonegah is beginning an E-sports team. It is open to all 5-8th grade students. I have sent them an email to let me know if they are interested. Dates to remember include: 1/23-2/3 Pre-season; 2/6-3/31 regular season, 4/10-4/21 Playoffs; 4/24-4/28 Finals. We will be joining the Middle School E-sports league. The games offered for competing are: Minecraft, Brawhalla, Rocket League and Chess. Please contact Mrs. Holmes for further information. Competitions will be on the school campus but after school.
Native Ace is starting back today.3:30-5:00! Transportation is available.
Dahlonegah has officially made the switch to these shiny new, red reusable trays. After several years we are finally ditching the styrofoam! These new trays will be more eco-friendly and will cut costs making it a win-win for our school! Students seem to like the change!

Dahlonegah girls won 40-7 over Cave Springs.
5th-8th grade students enjoyed guest speakers from Paradigm Shift. They were taught lessons in striving to understand the negative effects of bullying and how to work together despite differences. Students participated in cooperative learning activities, and had a great time with their peers. Thank you to Mary Wells for setting this up.
Student auditions were held for the Spring Play, “James and the Giant Peach”. Thank you to all students who showed interest and participated in auditions. We are so proud of each of you! Mr. Duncan will have parts posted this week!
Dahlonegah Families, there will be no school on Monday, January 16, in observance of MLK Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 17th. Have a great weekend!

Get your “snack grams” ordered for Valentines Day! Students send your friends or sibling(s) a sucker or beef stick for Valentine’s Day and support our school fundraisers. Each snack gram will have a personal message attached (complete at time of order).
